Quantum High Performance Computing: Transforming the Future of Advanced Computing

by piyushband2002＠gmail.com

Quantum High Performance Computing is emerging as a transformative technology that combines quantum computing capabilities with high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure to solve complex computational problems. As organizations generate massive volumes of data and face increasingly demanding processing requirements, Quantum High Performance Computing offers new opportunities to accelerate scientific research, improve computational efficiency, and support advanced technological innovation. By integrating quantum processors with classical supercomputers, businesses and research institutions can explore computational challenges that are difficult to address using conventional computing systems alone. The growing demand for faster data processing, advanced simulation, and sophisticated problem-solving is driving interest in Quantum High Performance Computing across several industries. In healthcare, quantum-enhanced computing may help researchers investigate molecular interactions, support drug discovery, and improve pharmaceutical development processes. In financial services, it offers potential applications in portfolio optimization, risk modeling, and complex financial simulations. Similarly, aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing companies are exploring quantum computing to improve material discovery, optimize engineering designs, and address large-scale optimization challenges. Source - https://www.marketresearchfuture.com/reports/quantum-high-performance-compu… Technological advancements are playing an important role in expanding the potential of Quantum High Performance Computing. Improvements in quantum processors, quantum algorithms, hybrid computing architectures, and cloud-based quantum platforms are helping organizations experiment with new computational approaches. Partnerships between technology providers, research laboratories, universities, and government institutions are also supporting innovation and the development of quantum computing ecosystems. Furthermore, integrating quantum systems with existing HPC infrastructure can allow researchers to combine the reliability of classical computing with specialized quantum processing capabilities.

Medical Tourism Market: Transforming Global Healthcare Access Through Cross-Border Care

by anujmrfr1＠gmail.com

The Medical Tourism Market is projected to reach USD 93.9 billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of 23.5% during the forecast period. This remarkable growth trajectory reflects the essential role of medical tourism in addressing the demand for affordable healthcare services, access to advanced treatments, and reduced wait times across the global healthcare landscape. The market is driven by cost savings compared to domestic healthcare, availability of advanced medical technologies, shorter waiting times for procedures, and increasing globalization of healthcare services. A major emerging trend is the shift toward value-based medical tourism, with patients seeking not only cost savings but also quality outcomes and comprehensive care experiences. The expansion of cosmetic surgery tourism is creating new opportunities for growth, with patients traveling abroad for procedures including facelifts, liposuction, and dental work at significantly reduced costs. Investment in international patient infrastructure is gaining traction, with hospitals and clinics establishing dedicated departments to cater to foreign patients with language support, travel assistance, and cultural sensitivity. The growing emphasis on wellness tourism is driving demand, with patients combining medical treatments with spa experiences, yoga retreats, and holistic wellness programs. Additionally, the dual focus on both developed and emerging destinations is expected to enhance the overall market landscape, with countries like Thailand, India, and Mexico competing alongside established destinations like Singapore and South Korea. Do you think medical tourism will eventually become mainstream for common procedures? The integration of digital platforms for price comparison, provider reviews, and telemedicine consultations is transforming how medical tourism services are marketed and accessed. By 2035, the medical tourism market will be more accessible, transparent, and patient-centered than ever before, reflecting evolving healthcare needs and technological innovations in the global healthcare industry. FAQs What is driving growth in the medical tourism market? Key drivers include cost savings compared to domestic healthcare with savings of 50-80% on many procedures, availability of advanced medical technologies in destination countries, shorter waiting times for procedures compared to public health systems, increasing globalization of healthcare services, and growing patient willingness to travel for quality care at affordable prices. How is cosmetic surgery tourism shaping the medical tourism market? Cosmetic surgery tourism represents a significant segment of the medical tourism market, with patients traveling abroad for procedures including facelifts, liposuction, and dental work at significantly reduced costs. This segment is driven by cost savings, privacy, and the combination of surgery with vacation experiences, contributing to the market's projected growth to USD 93.9 billion by 2030. Concluding the RFC8950-IXP Working Group

by Aleksi Suhonen

Hi, In today's meeting we decided to conclude this working group. Or at least we will stop having regular meetings, as the next meeting would have clashed with Euro-IX Forum anyway. RATIONALE We've already achieved most of what we set out to achieve. The remaining things aren't showing much progress over the past year, and the number of people in each meeting hasn't been very high either, so meeting every 6 weeks doesn't feel useful. Let's have a look at our charter[1]: > Define goals and targets of the working group: > > Raise awareness for RFC8950 for interconnection > Raise awareness for interoperability issues > Make vendors aware of bugs / improvement ideas > Create recommendations for operators > Migrate IXP related work to Euro-IX route server WG [x] We have raised awareness. [x] We've been able to get vendors to fix bugs and a few vendors have even implemented stuff based on our work. [v] We now have a few IXPs that run RFC8950 capable route servers, and we have config examples for a bunch of platforms. [x] Whatever IXP work still needs to be done, can be done at the route server WG. We've already given presentations there. I also noticed that our working group isn't even listed on the Euro-IX website, so what the hell... FUTURE We'll keep this mailing list around. We'll keep the mattermost channel[2] around as well. If anything new comes up, we can use these communication channels to talk about it. If it's significant enough, we can start having meetings again as well. The Github repo[1] will stay available, and me and Andre will probably accept pull requests if anyone has something to contribute. ACTION POINTS There are still a few outstanding action points, like I will keep working on an opportunistic implementation on the TREX route servers, and Andre is working with Huawei to verify their RFC8950 peering implementation, which is due to be released in late 2027. Some of these will result in updates on the github repo. In conclusion, it was nice to work with everybody, and I'm pretty proud of what we managed to achieve, despite all the odds against us. And see you around! Kindest Regards, [1] https://github.com/euro-ix/rfc8950-ixp [2] https://mattermost.nog.fi/euro-ix-forum/channels/rfc8950-wg -- +358 44 9756548 / http://www.trex.fi/ Aleksi Suhonen / TREX Regional Exchanges Oy You say "potato", I say "closest-exit."
